NIDA Marketing since 1957
David Aronson, a forward-thinking life insurance agent and aviation buff formed NIDA Marketing in 1957. He believed the future of the life industry would be structured more around independent brokers and agents and less around in-house agents and regional offices dotting the landscape. It took nearly 20 years for the business to catch up to his vision and in the 1970s the face of the industry changed widespread, exactly as he had seen it would. It was at that time that Michael Hrdlicka became Aronson’s partner. Together, they continued to build relationships with individual producers and top level carriers. One after another, insurance company branch offices from Maine to New Mexico, from Alabama to Alaska, closed their doors. This created an agent community that enjoyed independence, but demanded professionalism from its brokers, marketers and carriers. In 1984, as NIDA was completing the first phase of its exceptional growth period, Aronson was killed when the experimental aircraft he had built crashed en route to a Florida air show. In the years since, Hrdlicka and his associates have built NIDA Marketing into one of the top 50 insurance marketing companies in the nation. We feel the key to our success comes from the continued excellence of our producers and the forward thinking of our carriers.
